Job Description 

We are looking for a full-time or part-time Sales Agent to help drive sales of agriculture products available on dFarm Marketplace. The Sales Agent will develop relationships with potential buyers, introduce them to products available for sale on Marketplace, and assist them in completing the sale.

Job Duties

> Research and identify potential buyers and establish and nurture relationships with them.

> Be buyers’ primary dFarm sales contact.

> Actively promote listed products to appropriate buyers and encourage purchases.

> Answer buyers’ questions about dFarm and dFarm Marketplace

> Help buyers complete the purchase process on Marketplace.

> Notify dFarm of any unmet buyer product needs.

> Record all sales activity in HubSpot CRM

> Provide regular sales status updates to dFarm management.

> Meet dFarm Marketplace sales objectives.

> Expand personal knowledge of agriculture products and buyer markets handled.


> Preexisting, established relationships with agricultural buyers, either regionally or globally.

> Agriculture products trading or selling experience, and knowledge of the steps involved in agriculture product transactions including documentation and shipping

> Familiarity with agriculture commodity markets

> Knowledge of the agriculture products being sold on Marketplace.

> Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture or business administration, or equivalent experience.

> Familiarity with HubSpot CRM.

> Strong analytical, evaluation and problem solving skills.

> Good project management skills
